Responsible for providing the highest level of talent acquisition services to hiring managers and search committees; delivers high quality professional and senior-level candidates and advances Ohio State’s brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process; performs full lifecycle recruiting and maintains excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and community. A wide degree of creativity, near and long term recruiting vision, business understanding and personal organization is required to be successful in this position.
Additional Information: This position will provide recruiting services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
Education, training, experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting in the IT industry; knowledge in creating, implementing and maintaining recruitment processes, tools, systems and technology that deliver both recruitment effectiveness and efficiency in a complex and highly matrixed organization; proven ability to build relationships and consensus among key stakeholders to achieve objectives; ability to work successfully as an independent contributor to successfully build and manage a recruitment function and experience with high volume recruiting in a professional, direct hire environment.
Desired: Third-party search experience and Professional Recruiter Certification as a Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter, and/or Certified Internet Recruiter.
